This application brings simplicity and variety, along with two unique features. Firstly, the entire app can be driven by your voice and works alongside your existing ‘TalkBack’ feature. Secondly the ability to say “Speech off” taking the application to gesture mode. Where you can use swipes and double taps to navigate all the content. Bringing the perfect balance when you are unable or don’t want to use your voice to control the application.

Just say “BBC Radio 1” or the full name of a worldwide station and it will be played. Or if you don’t know the full name provide a word or phrase and a list of stations will be presented.

Use the item number to easily pronounce and select from the list of options.
Give the name of any Country, or just say “quick search”, then ask for “Cricket”, “Football” or “New York News” if you need more help finding suggestions.

The Brilliant Speech Radio

I'd recommend this app to any visually-impaired person with a love of radio. It's a one-stop-shop for all your radio listening. Flexible and easy to use with both voice commands and gestures, now i've got it, I wouldn't want to be without it. Thank you British Wireless For The Blind Fund.

Buggy but good

It is simple to use but could do with some tweeks. When listening to a station, the dialog that says powered by bwbw fund doesn't always appear as soon as you double tap . Also would be good to see name of current show that is on eg breakfast show in this dialog to the right of dismiss button next to the station name like in other radio apps. When performing a search and it can't find anything, it just says 'currently searching. Please wait' and nothing else happens
