Internet Speed Test Speedcheck 4+

I’m British still locked down in the Philippines that is notorious for bad internet signals.

Now, I’ve seen Facebook pics of school teachers here sitting on the school roof trying to get a signal. I bought a WiFi booster antenna. Signal seemed better but I wasn’t sure so I installed this app. I am now getting over 60 mbps and this app doesn’t lie as I’ve tried it on both WiFi and 4 G SIM cards. SIM card gives out the same mbps and now Ookla online shows 60 plus mbps.

There is anAdvert that is going round most games and apps selling like within this app selling Lightning cables it’s a con. Apps like this refuse to take any blame once you get turned over and say they can’t look into the guys that pay! To advise with them but you can understand why apps like this let them as they are being payed like a drug pusher without them getting there hands dirty... I hope every penny you made from them brings you sorrow.
If you were innocent you would not let them place an advert .. you have the brains to make and run an app right? You can take a min and research who is advertising with you and see how much of a scam it is.
You chose to let them advertise for a reason that makes you just as guilty as them.
I wish you no bad .. but don’t be surprised when something happens and your left thinking why is this happening to us.

Ad’s are a bit messy, I had one stretched out of proportion to my iPhone X screen and it gave no clear indication how to dismiss it. As a result I clicked it twice. Great for fundraising I’m sure, but not good UX, which overall IS actually very good.

This app has enormous potential, given its associated crowd sourced WiFi hotspot database; showing hotspots by speed.

I was worried it was less accurate so I double checked. I was wrong. It’s accurate.

Suggestion; a lot of users won’t understand the factors affecting their home WiFi or the associated jargon. It’d be great to have a short animated explanation of this including suggestions on how to optimise their connection speed, in particular over WiFi.

I recommend a competitor over this to my Dad, as it has a simpler UX with less invasive Ads. Consider that many users will pick this up because they are already frustrated with their ISP connection speed. Don’t add to their frustration, address it. Their issues could be WiFi related, so a smooth UX and gentle explanation of common problems and solutions will enlighten and seriously satisfy them.
