Description
SpeedLight is a mobile viewer for Second Life virtual universe. It is a lightweight, cross-platform viewer. It allows performing all you need in your Second Life: login, stay online, contact your friends using IMs and local chat, teleport across the world.
SpeedLight is FREE on app purchase. The only limitation is 6 hour online time (you can re-login immediately). The additional Gold facility adds unlimited online time to your avatar.

Love it!
Love this app, RL has been busy so it’s really good to be able to connect with Secondlife when not able to login via my laptop. Some improvements needed for the 3D viewer but overall great app!
Exclent
This is an excellent tool to help manage my avatars, being able to log in , reply to messages transfer money etc quickly and easily even if I’m not near the Mac , at the time of writing the app has a basic 3D view, this is usable and allows you to move around and sit on objects etc. Well recommended if you run multiple accounts and run any kind of business. The lifetime gold make this a no brainier buy too!
The Jury’s Out…
… tho I’ll update this review after I’ve learnt my way around it.
Certainly, the menu items promise a wide variety of the usual functions. At the moment though, for me the big disappointment is the VERY crude avatar rendering. After all that time and expense in putting together a mesh avatar and clothes in the mainframe viewer…
Movement needs some getting used to as well.
Oh well, watch this space…
