Versatile and Useful
I use this for 2 main purposes:
1. Language learning. When I listen to Japanese podcasts for study I often want to skip back by just a few seconds to hear again what was said. This app allows me to do that with just a swipe of the finger.
2. Podcast listening. The Apple podcast app is a load of rubbish. I use Speedup for general podcast listening. It syncs all my podcasts from ITunes desktop and is easy to access.
I also like the simple skip forward function which makes it easy to skip past any ads in the podcast that I don’t want to listen to.
broken seek function in study mode after resetting Iphone
Marking this down two stars because 1, in study mode, you can't change time intervals without braking how the player fasts forward or rewinds. It only rewinds after you've changed the time interval settings.2. There is no easy way to scroll slowly and gently through a book within the player itself. I have to go into control centre and show media controls or lock the phone so the media controls are on the lock screen and play audio books that way.
