SpotRacers - Car Racing Game 4+

Really cool game with the idea that you can scan street cars in to increase your garage. I also like the idea of the cool down period so it mixes it up all the time using different cars to race with.

My only critique would be the actual cool down period. I enjoy having a game that can have a good half hour spent playing non stop, just the thought of doing a 20-40second race then having a 10 minute car cool down period is a little bit over the top in my opinion. A simple 3/4 minute cool down to allow you to race in a few other cars then go back to your favourites would massively improve the game.
Overall tho a good game which if tweaked would be great.

However, once you scan/collect more cars the annoyance diminishes as you'll have more cars to choose from 🚗🚙💨 Thanks again.

I’ve been playing with Spot Racers for about a week and so far I’ve really enjoyed the experience, the one finger operation is actually a lot more controllable that I expected even with my cracked screen. Lots of fun and I really want to play more, but the car spotting feature (I.e. the main selling point) is very poor. Of 30+ attempts I’ve made it’s worked only three times, most of the time it crashes the app, freezes or shows a no signal icon in the top left corner. When it does work it’s really slow, that is the same whether on Wi-Fi or Mobile Data. It’s a massive let down and I hope the next update sorts it out as I fear the longer term playability is at risk. Otherwise it’s definitely worth a go as it’s one of those few games with a great 5 minute pick up and play mechanic. Recommended, and if the spotter improves it could be a little gem.

Thank you for taking your time to write a constructive review🙏 We're really sorry to hear about your car-scanning problems and are very interested in investigating your issues as scanning car should not be a problem. The primary feature of the scanner is image recognition why it is important that most of the car model is visible for the scanner. Secondly, the scanner needs to be able to recognize some kind of unique identifier (typically the numbers in a license plate) in order to accept the scan (this is only to make sure that players do not scan the same car over and over again). What iPhone phone are you using and what kind of error messages did you get when trying to scan? (if any before crashing). If you don't mind please write us at support@spotracers.com and we'll look into your scanner problems immediately.

I love this game but there is something that could make it even better.
More cars. I scanned a BMW i8 and it gave me a Diablo and when I scanned a Honda Civic Type R I got a Jamba and they look nothing alike. So if you did an update that could specify specific car models like a Honda Civic Type R instead of just a normal Honda Civic and then give you a car that looks more like the actual model it would make it even better.
Over all the amazing game I love the idea and the tracks, and I also like that there are daily spot challenges. Keep up the good work! 😁👍
