FIXED: New User Pet Selection (Critical) We discovered and resolved a critical bug where new users selecting their companion pet during onboarding would incorrectly receive the default Sprout instead of their chosen pet (Otter, Fox, Bird, Panda, etc.). This was caused by the app's cloud sync system saving default data before the user completed their pet selection. The fix ensures that: - Your chosen pet now appears correctly from the moment you complete onboarding - The cloud sync system waits until you've made your selection before saving - Existing users with cloud data are completely unaffected - The "Restore Pet" feature works correctly for new accounts This was our top priority fix as it affected 100% of new users going through the onboarding flow. Enhanced Privacy & Complete Data Deletion We've significantly improved the account deletion process to ensure complete removal of all user data: - Account deletion now properly removes your authentication account - All data is deleted from every database table (tasks, pet data, backups, collections) - You can now re-register with the same email after deletion - Complies with privacy regulations and "right to be forgotten" requirements Previously, account deletion would leave some data orphaned in the database and prevent re-registration with the same email address.
