Description

SQL Studio is the simplest way to access your Microsoft SQL Servers natively from your Mac.

With SQL Studio you can:-

- Attach to multiple servers
- Authenticate with SQL or Windows authentication
- View database tables, views, stored procedures, functions and users
- Execute SQL queries
- Export query results to CSV
- Save queries you use on a regular basis
- Sync saved queries to other Mac / iOS devices via iCloud
- Syntax highlighting in query window
- F5 to run query
- Run only highlighted part of query

SQL Studio connects to SQL Server natively and doesn't require anything installing on your servers.

All versions of Microsoft SQL Server from 2000 onward are supported including Microsoft Azure SQL Databases.

Horrible to use for any amount of time!

What!? So many usability issues with this its crazy! This is not fit to charge money for! A pop up when I do a “USE *database*” statement? Really??
Waste of money, wish I could get a refund.

Good start, keep going

This is a nice simple interface for MS SQL and provides all the basic functionality for working on a database with a familiar layout to standard Enterprise manager. There a couple of small bug bears for me but I am sure if they keep developing it they will be fixed/implemented. My biggest of these is the lack of shotcut keys to execute the sql. It may seem petty but actually slows down the use of the tool.

All in all, a good start with lots of potential. Clean interface and the right price. Keep going and it could be great.

Nice Interface but cannot export query results

Nice looking, clean interface compared to most of the competition. Seems to work well and offers most of the features I’m used to in MS SQL Management Studio. 1 major issue for me is the inability to export or even copy query results into XLS or CSV - this means I can’t work with the data outside of the app :(
