Better than most but still has problems!

The layout and graphics are very nice and simple. Regrettably the app is let down by the app doesn’t work properly especially from Tidal to Apple Music! regrettably, transferring music to Apple Music is very disappointing as it seems to be a general problem with many music transfer services!

After repeated attempts the 2 playlists that I really wanted to transfer on Apple Music were incomplete. That is not all the songs were transferred a fair amount were missing. Furthermore, it suffers with big library transfers from the app freezes because of this.

Customer Service did reply promptly which I appreciated and we interacted for awhile. However, I was very disappointed that they said I would have to wait for an update that was coming in a near future but without an actual date.

So now I am left in limbo as I have a massive library to transfer.

Great idea but the app doesn’t work

The app partially synced playlists and got stuck. Customer support advised to delete the transfers and delete the app on all devices. Didn’t work. They had to reset at their end. Then the app partially loaded tracks and songs from Apple Music to SounCloud. So I had to go and fetch the missing songs. Then four hours before DJing at a party I realised that most of the tracks and songs FYM synced to SoundCloud were random versions. Not the original versions or the same versions but totally random including some people recording their versions and posting and sometimes a very different song. And that’s for pretty mainstream hits. I had to go track by track, delete the version FYM found and add the right version. Spent far more time doing that than I would have by simply doing in manually to begin with, not to mention the stress. The whole process back and forth with them took 3 days. The customer service person was very nice and tried to help. But when the product is not even an MVP there is that much she could do.

Nice idea...

...but poor in implementation. Looks the part and certainly does work but so insanely slow that it will lock your phone up for hours on end. Oh and it's expensive for the privilege too. Ten pounds to unlock for iOS and fifteen for other devices. To be honest I probably won't need a service like this again either. I tried another app which unfortunately I hadn't noticed until after purchasing this one and it's worked great.
The playlists were all jumbled with Stamp and albums were mixed up with live versions and alternative tracks from other albums. The amount I'd have to reorganise negates the benefit I've paid for. Thankfully I'll manage to sort the mess with smart playlists, but I shouldn't have to. If you do go ahead, at least try a couple of playlists at a time to see how it works for you. Think damage limitation. I've no idea why so many 5 star reviews. Perhaps other people don't care that playlists are added in any old order with random live tracks, but I certainly do.
