Ratings and Reviews
Great game but gets repetitive
Playing the game was really good fun, but after time it starts to get really boring playing the same campaign over and over. I've played it twice now from beginner to normal on the third attempt at the game it goes to heavy difficulty and gave me the same size ship not been able to use the 3 guns I was able to build for the level I was playing. This game can be extended so much more and look forward to new updates to extend the game play. I'd recommend getting this game it's great fun, just the game play need to be extended to a greater level!
A must for sci-fi strategy fans
I bought Star Command a long time ago and I’ve only just gotten round to playing it. I wish I’d have started sooner because this game is fantastic.
It’s a bit like Faster Than Light but much more forgiving (this is a good thing!)
The music, art style, animation and writing are all fantastic. Enemies are varied and each race has a distinct, memorable personality.
Gameplay is great too. I love how most battles require you to split your attention between fighting enemies inside (invaders) and outside (other ships) your ship. The combat system makes you feel really involved, which is exactly what you want from a sci-fi strategy game like this.
Even though it hasn’t been updated since late-2013, it plays perfectly on my iPhone 6.
Hopefully we’ll get a sequel because Star Command is one of the all-time great iOS games. Grab it while you can.

I loved this game and i still do. Its a legendary game and all it needs is an update. I played this game for 74 hours and got bored sadly and deleted it but i missed it to much and ive downloaded it again to find that theres nothing new:( please update or even better bring out a sequel because i understand you cant update it too much because you cant cut out the older apple products just please do something its a brilliant concept with the potential to be the next really big game
