I Just LOVE IT!

I am 53, wise and with courage albeit it wasn’t always that way. We had new faces and came. I had Victoria wood as myself an my dreams. Star Now is easy to use but the people are just so lovely. I feel I belong to a tribe and it is from the heart trustworthy and they work hard to safeguard from the un-enlightened, or other wise. So I feel it has integrity as well as efficacy. The support is there. I live small and re- building and learning, this is a one stop shop for all the possibilities. I love Star now and the people who look after it ❤️

Ridiculous refund policies

I have been using StarNow for a while to be honest (not that I ever got much out of it, but this is another subject of conversation). I was charged without a reminder of the renewal of subscription (a thing that ALL respectable subscription services do), so I asked instantly for a refund, especially asking to understand the current situation and that I could not really afford to loose £40 like this even though I acknowledged that was partially my fault to not have checked the renewal date.

Useless to say that the costumer service repeated over and over again the same email template rather than solving the issue and showed no empathy or understanding of the current situation. It would have honestly been easier to proceed with the refund, pause the service and then resume once things got better. But they didn’t even think to propose this before renewals. They seem more concerned to prove a point of their refund policies and to make money rather than the interests of their subscribers. Any decent marketing consultant would understand that is better to issue a refund for a loyal costumer (I have been with them for over 3 years) that will continue to bring business rather than prove a point and loose it as a whole. Honestly disappointed. Do yourself a favour and choose other services similar to StarNow.

R.I.P. StarNow

With this new update, comes the death of my beloved StarNow. I used to use StarNow to get away from Backstage, as I found it user friendly and effective, as opposed to Backstage being quite tedious and hard to use. So imagine my surprise when I boot up the app to find out that this new update has turned it INTO Backstage. Simultaneously erasing months worth of messages and connections I’d been building. Not to mention wiping my profile to basically back to scratch, my photos are gone, my recommendations are gone, even my cover letter is gone! All in all, this was the worst thing that could’ve happened to StarNow and will more than likely result in its fall from grace. People came to StarNow because it offered something different to Backstage, now they’ve negated that, they’ll lose a huge percent of their users. And unfortunately, that’s me included.
