Stars Messenger Kids Safe Chat 4+

Recommend for children and parents

I searched for an app at the start of lockdown for my children to keep in touch with their friends, and their father who was working overseas so they didn’t need to use my phone all of the time! they don’t have SIM cards but they do have WiFi and I didn’t want them to have access to other popular messaging apps as I feel they’re unsafe for children. We asked a few friends to download also and it was a huge hit! Emojis, voice and video chat, picture messaging and with the new update finally group chat!! I would say we often miss each other’s notifications as unless on the app it doesn’t notify us of any interaction; calls messages etc, so that would be great in the next update/ also I love that we have an online green dot/ but it would be better if we had a typing ellipsis or an indicator of how long ago they were online or a read or unread indicator (mainly so I can see if my child has read my messages etc). Lastly there’s a glitch where if I remove a group chat it still ends up at the bottom of my message list as a random letters or number combination and it just looks messy! Other than that I would highly recommend this app to anyone looking for a safe feature for their children to connect :) !

I love this app sooo much

I wasn’t allowed on messenger so I came onto this app and like I have no idea how to use it and me and my mum just set it up in a minute is the best app ever. It’s very extremely child friendly and people need a pin to be able to actually like send you a like a suggestion to message you and then when you get that a suggestion and then if you don’t know the person that you can just decline decline it or you can accept it starts conversation with your friends I found out about this app and then I got every single one of my friends onto the app and like my next class I am actually going to get everyone in this group that I made and it’s going to be like really fun because I have so many like people to talk to and I loved it because like there’s so many like fun things like you can call people and it’s child friendly so yes thank you so much for making this app

Help me with the update

When it offered me the update l declined it but now I want the update and nothing is working. l clicked the link but safari said it was unusable. So now l need your help because l can't email. It could be my phone is to old but it's only iPhone 5 and has been fine for the 2 years I've had it. Putting that aside, stars is a brilliant app and I highly recommend it for people of every age if you don't have a SIM card. Please reply l need your feedback because l can't FaceTime my friends. Also pls can you turn the invites into calls both FaceTime and audio because it's very annoying waiting for the other person to pick up especially if it's urgent. Again please reply as soon as you can and help me with the problem. Get stars for your children people out there. Creators give me feed back,

P.S. I had a problem when l first downloaded your app it kept glitching. I could still text but mine and everyone else's messages were gone and I couldn't see them. This is no longer a problem but it could happen to anyone else and it's rather annoying especially when your friends are quick at texting.🤔🤔 Also autocorrect doesn't work idk if this is a problem with my phone or the app but auto correct works on the internet and right now when I'm typing so it's probably a problem with Stars. 👋 bye

Also, can you please share what is your iOS version? It needs to be iOS 11 or above.

About autocorrect, you can turn that on or off from the Settings in the app.
