The Startup app has three main functions: 1. A person-to-person business partner finder. Users upload a profile of the business they are seeking to start up, and the matching algorithm searches for potential partners. Once matches are made, users can privately message each other. 2. A mentoring platform. Users can post business related questions, which other users can answer and rate. The more positive ratings the user receives, the higher the mentoring award is attributed to their use profile. 3. A portal for news and events and business funding opportunities. These can signed up for using Eventbrite.
