Airplay Disaster
I recently have purchased this app and it has amazing content. However. When I try to AirPlay to my Apple TV, there is no sound at all. I have no problems like this with and other app I have. Just this one. I’ve tried different films/programmes and they’re all the same. The graphics are there but NO sound. I’ve passed my 7 day free trial and I am now a paying customer. I would like to know way to sort this out m
Good but not great
Must admit I only downloaded the app to watch the new remake of The Stand as the old one was fantastic. Enjoyed this new version of the Stephen King classic but it was ruined by the fact that ever time I paused the app or had a phone call (I was watching on iphone or ipad) it wouldn’t let me start from where I left off, it kept resetting back to the beginning or I would get sound but no picture therefore having to shut down the app and load it up again. Very frustrating. If this was fixed I would be tempted to go 4 or even 5 stars as there is quite a few other series I would like to get into on here but I’m just put off by that. I’m sure it’s an easy fix but until it is I’ll go back to Netflix.
Wouldn’t recommend
There are so many little things that bug me about this app.
Firstly, it doesn’t keep track of where you were last watching in your episode or film and normally jumps back 6/7 minutes, so you have to either re-watch something you’ve seen or fiddle around to find out where you last were.
Secondly, it doesn’t save your preferences. I like to watch with subtitles, but every time it is either a new episode or I have gone back onto the app, it doesn’t save and thus I constantly have to change it so that it has subtitles on. Annoying.
Thirdly, it has no option to watch trailers, that I can see. And when you request information for a series, it is very very simple. Which is disappointing because I don’t want to spend an hour watching the first episode of a series I may not like.
However, the navigation is pretty okay, but there isn’t much to navigate through. I feel like in one month you could watch everything on here (minus the super long series).
Overall, get free 7 day trial and go. There isn’t much to stay around for, unless you like being annoyed and really enjoy their content.
