Great game, rip-off in app purchases

Gameplay-wise, State of Survival is a lot of fun and I’ve been playing it for a few months now. If you like strategy, zombies, teamwork (in alliances), a great sense of progression and growth, an interesting story with charismatic characters, regular updates and new content, and a varied and ever-evolving selection of mini games and events, you’ll have a lot of fun with this game.

You don’t need to buy anything in the store to progress, but levelling up rare heroes is painfully slow without purchases. Some of the in-app purchases are a complete and utter rip-off, however; if the developers think I’m going to spend £100 on a poxy, measly 50,000 bio caps (which isn’t even enough to go up one VIP level) then they’ve got another thing coming.

Prices like that are greedy, unethical, and quite frankly insulting. Please show some respect and provide some real value in your in-app store. You’d probably make more money that way anyway, because more people would actually purchase something. Reward people generously if they’re prepared to give you their hard-earned money. And equally, if people don’t want to pay, please provide more ways to earn hero fragments for free. You don’t want to alienate lower level players, and/or those who don’t want to spent money, do you?

EDIT - please also let us move to another state. I want to play in the same alliance as my dad, and I can’t because my level is too high. We should be able to play together!

Do the Devs even care at this point?

The matchmaking in the game for cross state events like reservoir raid and stare vs state is appallingly broken. Whatever points system that has been concocted is frankly absurd. The single most important determinant of outcomes is the strength of each side’s rally leads, yet time and time again the matches pit sides where one side simply many more high spending leads on side than the other. You can hold the capitol building with half an alliance of less of you have three or four rally leads with 200+% stronger attack and defence bonuses and 100+% health and lethality bonuses. I hate easy wins and hopeless losses in equal measure - I’d much rather loose a genuinely close SvS with a margin of minutes than have a victory handed to you on a platter by absurdly awful matchmaking. Also, why did you have to break something that wasn’t broken? The reservoir raid as it was originally was perfectly fine. Choose one time slot, and that will be your match. Now you have to give three time slots, and only one of them is doable for most of the alliance members who want to sign up for that legion. So when the slot everyone wants doesn’t get given, at least a third of the players simply can’t make it because they have other things to do in their lives than plan their Sundays around a game. Well, “if it ain’t broke we’ll fix that” seems to be developers’ motto.

As you are aware, State of Survival is a war strategy game and we cannot refrain any players from attacking others or a certain alliance continuously as they have the choice to decide their strategy and stand. We do certainly understand that this type of bullying can occur and we have added many features in the game to help others grow and avoid getting attacked from another player or alliance. The new update today absolutely blows! They have ruined things that didn’t need to be messed about with in the first place. Sending marches is now more difficult than it needs to be, the whole interface is awful. It no longer assigns your strongest heroes into the first slot, it assigns different ones. We can’t rearrange our heroes so that sarge is first for example, it has to be infantry, rider, hunter. You have to expand the whole interface to be able to even equalise troops.

When doing trap 2 days ago we were exceptionally close to defeating lvl 26, yet today we only just did half the amount of damage, so something has severely changed and not for the good there. The trade store is now gone and in its place is 2 other stores, one of which wanted to charges me 5k biocaps for one Nikola fragment 😳. Everything is gradually changing so that the only way to play the game is to put a load of money into it. I put enough money into it at the moment but looks like it's just money money money with each new update. I won't continue to play if this game becomes all about chucking money at it, and neither will many people. Be sensible game designers and make us want to put money in, not NEED to put money into it 😉. That's all from me
