Heart widgets don’t work

I bought this primarily to track my heart rate via widgets on my home screen. Installing the app asks for the permission for health data which I granted, but none of the Heart widgets show data. Either comes up with a grey line or displays “No Health data”. I checked the health app had data in it (I wear an Apple Watch, so had ample data) and also tried uninstalling /re-installing the app, revoking permissions to Health and Re-granting them… All with no effect.

The widgets all look great and the majority work, just not the ones I needed.

I went through Apple support as the developer site (accessed via “App Support” does not have any contact details (email mailto link goes nowhere) and didn’t fancy reaching out in a public forum like X. I have requested a refund as the app is not fully functional for me and also no way to reach the developer for support to fix the issue.

Shame as the widgets do look great.

The app appears to fill a gap which is about graphing Apple Health metrics. The obvious use case is weight but the widget only displays a straight line because the decrements are a quarter of a pound per day. The app doesn’t set a horizontal scale so you can actually see the fall of the line. This renders it useful for weight anyway unless you lose or gain significant weight every day. Setting to monthly doesn’t make much difference either.
