Description
Use StellarMate App to discover and connect to your StellarMate controller. Control StellarMate functions and access the Web Manager and Web based VNC Viewer.
Join StellarMate to your home WiFi network. Use Ekos to capture images, stream video, guide, focus, and align. With Polar Alignment Assistant tool, get very accurate polar alignment using internal astrometry engine.
Never lose your images again with EkosLive Pro. All captured images are automatically uploaded to the cloud with a rich set of metadata that enables powerful search and sorting. Use custom tags to uniquely tag important frames for later use.
Check the health of your device, and use the software updater to keep it up to date.

StellarMate Support
The StellarMate app is a useful way of checking in on your Ekos imaging runs. It allows you to fully set up and control your astrophotography equipment that is attached to a raspberry pi running the StellarMate OS.
Could it be improved, yes! It could do with a planetarium similar to stellarium , but all this can be accessed by using VNC to access KStars running on the raspberry pi desktop, this is my preferred way of using StellarMate. But overall the app works well. Where StellarMate really excels in in the support provided by the team.
Patience is a virtue
Now doubt Stellarmate OS takes a while to get used to - but once you’ when worked through the odd gremlins (mainly end user setup), it works like a dream. It is an easy intuitive interface, and has powerful tools for automating almost every aspect of astroimaging. I use it on a mainly manual, ‘push to’ setup to good effect - allowing me. Completely portable setup. For those who seek an out of the box instant ‘ASIAIR’ experience, or don’t have the patience to work with a tool that seeks to offer an ‘internet of things’ to everyone, irrespective of the brands they use, then StellarMate is a great choice.
