Stick Cricket Super League 4+

What is really good about this game ... it is the only Cricket game (that I can find anyway) that actually provides that real time decision making challenge when batting... Half a second or so to decide what shot to hit.. in this case which side to hit. It is a little crude and somewhat frustrating when the AI decides to effectively get you out by delivering an unplayable ball.... you can only offer two shots ..... onside or offside, with no defence shot or ability to duck a bouncer for example. Timing does however play apart and even these limited options do deliver a surprising amount of realtime engagement and a repeatable thrill of hitting sixes and the winning ball. Really great well thought out app.. but developers.. would you consider giving us a third option of a straight drive/defensive block? Also the ability to order your own bowlers and batters according to counter the oppositions order would be a great enhancement.

Great absorbing game. Highly Recommended for Cricket Fans.

This game is very addictive, I like that you can earn the coins without having to buy them and that you can level up one of your stats at the end of each season.
The gameplay is good and I’ve enjoyed playing it!
The drawbacks are that you don’t seem to be able to earn enough money each season to level up the coaches/agents and still sign players. I’m in division 3 and can just about afford to resign my players from agent 2 with only pocket change left over, I’ve accepted that I’ll never level up the coaches because it costs £5m which is ridiculous. Secondly, the batting fast track doesn’t work very well, I can get off to a flier and get a player up to 50/70s but if I fast track they seem to forget how to bat completely and I end up skittled most of the time.
Finally, my biggest grievance is that the cpu batting is ridiculous. I can take 6 wickets, and in the last 2 overs their 7 + 8 will smash 34 per over off my star bowler to elevate them to a much higher total. The openers are visibly better than the others but the batting ability of the cpu lower order is a joke, and it’s very frustrating.
However I still love this game! But please slightly adjust it!!

I love stick cricket but this version feels a bit greedy. Stick Cricket 2 was excellent, varied and one purchase removed ads. In this one it offers in app purchases which is fine but buying something doesn’t remove the ads and then you need energy to play matches which inevitably drains and you can either wait or watch an ad. I get that they need to make money but ads plus in app purchases is too much.

Love the format but everything seems very expensive and unattainable so I can see purchases are going to be required in future to maintain competitiveness.

2 things that have bugged me about Stick Cricket for a while is “hitting wicket” which rarely happens in real life yet very few catches in this game. The other is that at some point you basically need to hit a boundary every ball to have a chance of winning. I want it to be challenging but I can never complete games because they just become too hard. I’m sure there are some Stick Cricket whizzes out there that manage it I’m not one of them.
