Stickman Hook - Racing Games 12+

There’s no lives, respawning is instant, levels are interesting, there’s a bit of challenge but you don’t have to play by the rules (like bouncing between pads to go really fast and release and fly over the map), there’s no penalty for loss, it’s a fun arcade game to just play a few levels and return later; I wish more games had the ethos of this game.

Edit: I managed to get the ball moving right at like 0.01px/sec (which allows for bounce increase) and bounced the ball extremely high and discovered you can go over the top of the finish line - I was going extremely high though (the last bounce period was about a minute and then half a minute later I tapped to bring the ball to the finish and it went over, down, and I had to restart 😹

This game is genuinely the one of the best mobile games I’ve ever played, but the reason I’m only giving it three stars is because of all the ads. For example, to unlock a slim, you need to complete 20 levels, but to buy pass that, you can get the skin by watching four ads. After watching these ads, you might think you’ve got the skin, but no. You still have to watch another advert to ‘unlock’ the skin. After unlocking the skin, you will probably want to equip it (unless you are fed up by all the ads you have watched), but to equip the skin you need to go to the homepage. Once you clikc the homepage you are immediately have to watch ANOTHER ad. Then finally, you have got your skin equipped and want to play a tournament. To play just one game in the tournament, you have to watch an ad. If you want to play another game, you have to watch another ad, and so on. Eventually, you will get bored of watching these ads, so you decide to play a normal game. You press the play button and immediately must watch another ad. When you play normal levels you have to watch an ad every other time you die. I just want to say that these aren’t short five or ten second ads, these are long 30 second ads, so watching them is a real drag. Other than that a fun smooth game :).

First of all let me just say that this app is extremely fun. I have spent many hours grinding this game and trying to collect all of the skins. The graphics are pretty good and the physics of the game are very realistic. I really like the race and challenge system as well and how you can earn skins by doing different things. However my only criticism is that the game is full of unavoidable adds that can stop your progress in a level and send you back to the start. I find this very annoying especially if I can see the finish line and I have been stuck on the level for a long time. There is a way to remove adds by upgrading to vip but then again that costs $2.99 which I wouldn’t really want to spend on the app. So overall I would say it is a very good app which is very fun and with good physics and skins but could be improved by making the adds be a choice to watch or at least they pause the game. This I would say though is the best app I’ve reviewed and one of the best apps on my phone. Oh and one other thing maybe make the background a bit more exciting like by adding different themes to it like underwater or space as once you reach level 300 it gets a bit boring with the same background
