When paired with a multi-channel audio interface, Sting Pad can be run in Split View on iPad alongside your music app of choice allowing you to independently control the levels of the background music and stings into your mixer. We recommend enabling airplane mode and flicking the mute switch on, neither of which will silence your music, and will allow your show to run without the worry of any notifications ruining your show’s big moment. Note: Sting Pad requires that you have purchased any music you would like to load and for it to be downloaded on the device.

Awesome App

What a great App. I wanted something that I could load a few tracks into that were easy to cue and play at certain times throughout a playlet. Also, and most importantly, that they would automatically stop playing at the end of each track. This is something that Apple Music doesn’t do. Ease of use was also a requirement, this App scores on all counts, it is really simple and it just works. Thank you to the developer, your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Zippy the sat nav
It doesn’t seem to recognise tracks that have been created in GarageBand band. When I’m searching for them they appear as not selectable. Any ideas as to what’s happening? If I can get this working then rating is a ten. As this is something I have been looking for for ages.

Hey Zippy, thanks for trying Sting Pad! The app won't be able to load GarageBand projects directly (as the format isn't a standard audio file format), but from within GarageBand you can export a project to an AIFF/WAV/AAC/MP3 file. If you do that, then Sting Pad will happily load the exported file for you.Hope this helps!
