You need to be the most useful person in the world to use this app!!

I don’t usually write reviews but using this app frustrates so much that I feel compelled to write and hopefully some action or change would take place.

I’ve only used this agency for a few weeks, however, I’ve noticed the functions started to become slow and my screen would literally freeze up for 10 mins which meant that I missed out on picking my shifts as they come and go pretttttty quick. Also, most of the time the Guaranteed Shift pop up would just freeze and I could neither accept or decline and every single time I deleted the app and reinstall it, the pop up would still freeze whenever I use the app.
Despite being slow and the app being dysfunctional most of the time, I really like the concept and the overall idea of the agency, but some serious changes really do need to happen if they want to actually make this app useful to people !!!

Hi Nur, we are sorry that you have faced issues with jobs disappearing from your app, this is understandably frustrating for a student using our platform. Some roles are very popular and so will be snapped up quickly, but we are working on our matching algorithm and increasing the number of great businesses we work with, meaning you should have lots of convenient Stints available to you moving forward.

Great concept, unusable app

I have been with stint for a few months now and initially was really impressed at how easy it was to pick up shifts, and their responsiveness. However, over the months the app has started to play up and now simply freezes either on opening, or as soon as I try to accept a stint, making it unusable. I am incredibly frustrated as it means I have lost out on a large number of shifts and therefore have lost out on desperately needed income. There has been no app update within the time I have been with Stint and I feel that there is too little focus on the app side of things. It doesn’t matter how good the concept is or how many businesses you’re partnered with, if you can’t get the basics right. I really hope they fix this issue as a matter of urgency as until then I can’t see how I can continue using their service.

Bad communication poorly designed app

The communication between stint and yourself is awful, they take ages to confirm weather or not you are working but are quick to remind you that not replying to them quickly will hurt your rating. It’s the same within the app, it never tells you have successfully submitted your dates to work or accepted a stint correctly. They don’t re pay for your travel not do they seem to take it into consideration with your so called personalised/ guaranteed stints where they offered me a 1 hour shift 45 mins away from me so they have offered me a stint and therefore do me have to pay for me spending time at home waiting for one. The only reason it isn’t one star as they do pay next day. I would highly recommend looking at other alternatives before choosing stint.
