Stocks+ app 17+

It does exactly what I need for most of the time, and when it does falter then the back-office support team is very responsive to contact messages within the app. The support is friendly and the engineers fix glitches really quickly, e.g. I’ve had price data stop following due to a stock being re-named, and stock value currency changing (without my input) between GBP and GBX (in a false way (e.g. 100p becomes £100) between same app data when accessed from iPad and iPhone intermittently. It would be nice to be able to update portfolio when holdings are partially sold, (currently I delete some regular purchases or amend units on an earlier purchase, which skews true historical gains / losses).

Regarding the ability to add SELL (or partial sell) records in the app. We are aware of this overlook, and are working on a solution. ETA: Q2-Q3 2020.

Good useful app, but if you have your own shares rather than through a broker you should be able to enter your holdings and purchase price to see how much they have moved and whether they are worth selling. Missed a trick here because if you decide not to continue managing it yourself because I’ll be bundled together and put through a broker of the developers suggestion. Not international left for my liking for UK friendly.

After good reply from developer works perfectly so loading up my portfolio. Thanks for the advice.

UPDATE: In order to perform the below mentioned actions, please note that you should open a custom portfolio. Custom portfolios in our app are lists which can be edited. Please feel free to use our default portfolios (like "My Holdings" or "Watchlist") or create a new portfolios by using these simple instructions:
- Tap on "Portfolios" button above your current list of stocks (or, if you use iPhone/iPod then tap on the blue button above your list which reflects your current portfolio name)
- Tap on the "+" button on the appeared screen,
- Enter a desired name of your new portfolio, pick a specific currency for it (if needed) and save changes. You're done!. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your review. Actually we do have an option to add holdings (i.e. transaction) with purchase price, date of transaction, number of shares, commission and notes. All you need is to follow several easy steps:
- Tap the "Gains & Losses" tab,
- Find the stock you want to add holding to. If this stock already has a holding - tap the ( i ) icon, if not - tap "Add Holding" button next to a stock symbol.
- Enter all the info needed. You may correct the price per share or number of share later at any time.
You can also add several holdings to one stock:
When you are on the 'Gains & Losses' tab, tap the ( i ) icon next to the stock symbol that already has holding, you'll see the previously added holdings. In order to add another one - please tap on the blue 'Add Holding' button above the list of holdings.
If your stock has several transactions, then you will see your profit for each of them in the list of holdings. When located on the Portfolio screen, each stock represents a combined profit/loss from all its holdings.

This is the best app I’ve tried for share prices. The main downside is the news items it brings up for each stock. They are almost all computer generated junk pages based on data with no real analysis of the companies. As news they are worthless, they are just trying to get you to click through to other services.
