Excellent for UK Stocks!!
No idea why others have said its limited for use in UK. I have input over 200 UK stocks and it works perfectly. You just have to put the correct suffix at the end, e.g. LLOY.L The new cloud sunc feature works seemlessly too and makes it really simple to switch between Mac and iPad.
Overall, does exactly what it claims and is a really useful tool.
Not a bad start
This is an interesting app. It's fundamental advantage over other apps is that it allows you to enter a stock list and then shows you - from a single screen - whether there is any new news on those stocks. This is a basic function that other apps lack, although it is still short of the ideal option, which is a single pane of headlines that relate to any of the stocks on a watch list. It's not clear why app providers are so averse to providing this basic service, which has been a staple of desktop solutions (Bloomie, Reuters and Fidessa) since the days of Topic.
This app's disadvantage is that it is overly reliant on the web. The Bloomie and Reuters apps offer access to their own content, while Share Price Live does a good job of feeding in news from third party providers. Stock Spy's approach of harnessing RSS feeds could be a powerful tool, but it is currently rather hit and miss. It failed to pick up today's results from FTSE 250 stock, Informa, for instance.
Worth trying for the price of a couple of pints, but room for improvement.

Well worth the money, keeps me up to date with stocks in my portfolio. But have been very impressed with level of support I've received with any questions I may of had. Emails have been answered immediately no matter what time and queries resolved instantly.
