I used receipt Hog before this one and have been using this since Hog finished. Ive had quite a few payouts over time so have continued to use this app. We regularly shop and so by the end of the week always have a large number of receipts to process. When I first used this app you could process all you had now however I find that they are either registered as unreadable (See previous reviews where this is a problem) and from my point of view they couldn't be more clearer. Sometimes scanning another part of the receipt first helps when this happens but more often than not several attempts and still no go. Recently the app has started including these scans as scans done for the week and so when you do get app valid scans the app stops you and says you have reached your capacity for the week and have to save your unscanned receipts till the next week. Never did this previously but now it seems that the app is curbing your entries to reduce your ability to reach the numbers you need to get vouchers.
I used to regularly scan but the new restrictions make scanning tedious and frustrating.
The app does pay out but be warned that more often than not your efforts will be rewarded with unreadable or scanned previously (even though the previous scan wasn't accepted either!)
Note to developers… sort this out and make the app work properly without these ridiculous problems.

Having used Receipt Hog for many years I was keen to get started on this. It started off so well but now it sporadically does the daily updates. (Haven’t had one for days now) They recently introduced a bonus for those that go in daily (24hrs), but even though I do that, I have never managed to get past the first days bonus and it then never comes back! I have reported this but was told nothing could be done. Other bugs include if you snap a receipt you have to wait for it to upload and give the coins before you do the next. Anything more that one instruction at a time and it gets confused and does not give you the coins. This happens at other times. For example when your phone says you can claim coins but you do something else first. I have reported this more than once but was told nothing could be done and that my coins were up to date. To begin with I believed them but over a period of time I noted how this happens and can see I have not been rewarded, but there is no point in trying to contact them anymore as they say they can’t manually add rewards. There are positives to this as it gives a decent reward (when it does). At some point in the future when this is a more robust system with less bugs it will be really good. Things I like to see: Search facility so you can find your receipts/Larger voucher £50/ To be able to challenge a receipt that does not work if your app is incorrect.

I started using this app after Receipt Hog finished. At first I was very happy with it but now not so much. With Receipt Hog you could challenge if a receipt was not valid and they would help. This bunch aren’t interested. I am getting more and more receipts marked as invalid despite having no problems on 2 other apps. I have contacted ‘support’ and they may apologise but can’t do anything as the receipt is scanned by computers and they can’t check it and override it. Who set the app up then? Possibly humans? Who responds to emails then? Possibly humans? If the receipt can be seen by 2 other apps plus occasionally cashback shopping sites with no problem then it says to me the problem is this app not my receipt.
On the plus side, when it does work, receipts are accepted points can build fairly quickly.
