Confidence Returned!

I really enjoy this app!! I’ve taken nearly two years off training due to chronic illness and with my weight gain I wanted to do something about it but had no idea where to start especially without overdoing it.
I follow Lisa’s instagram pages and loved the workout vids on there so with the current lockdown decided it was a great chance to try the app out! The main thing I loved was everything is all there for you and all planned out. You have control over the meals you want to eat and the workouts are all planned so you just choose which one at the level you want and away you go. You can swap around basically everything if you want to. The recent update has included more content on there to choose workouts from different plans so it’s great. I’ve learnt more new things as the videos are so useful at showing you how to do it. I feel my confidence and motivation has returned and I can take it at my own pace :) I don’t yet have her resistance bands (pre-ordered them) so I either swap the exercise or use what I have in the meantime. Food was another brick wall for me as I didn’t ever know what to eat so the balanced meals on there are so useful, I can’t wait to try out more of them. I think the price of the app is worth it as you get so much on there. Thank you for helping me feel more confident again! :)

Best app I’ve tried!

Love this app! Like the way you can switch workouts and meals and how you can rate your workouts afterwards! Lisa is an inspiration and I’m so glad I bought this. Now just waiting on the bands for a full experience - even without those I’ve been able to just switch to different exercises. Its genuinely helped build my confidence and like the way you can add your reps & weights as you go. Brilliant app and well worth the money. Couple of glitches (exercise video doesn’t match the title) but sounds like they are on to that and sorting these out. Equally that doesn’t massively affect how much I like it.
Couple of suggestions/questions - is there any way to allow you to be able to review your progress month on month? I miss seeing how I did on previous months as it just disappears once I read my summary? Also a manual override of the time would be fab as there are times I’ve accidentally clicked out of it and my timer starts again?

Followed and admired Lisa for ages so dived straight in with no trial. Big mistake. I have gone from the strong to lean programme (it’s good that it lets you switch and still have access to strong and lean workouts) but every workout under these is around an hour and half long (and longer) Sorry but Lisa may have all the time in the world to be in the gym for that long but I don’t. So when you can’t do the whole thing you are set up to feel like you failed. The supersets are poor. Using two different machines often at other ends of my gym and using 2 machines is the very thing Lisa mocks in her insta stories. The meal plans for a meat eater have way over 50% vegan/vegetarian dishes and when someone queried about not being able to fit 5 meals a day in they were told to add the calories to other meals so, in essence make your own meal plan. Exactly what they pay her for (I have abandoned the meal plan altogether and stick with the workouts). I do like to track my progress in the app. But only this morning have had to write to tech AGAIN due to illogical settings (doesn’t let you record last set when it’s to failure, it annoyingly marks it as complete for you with N/A beside your reps/weight. I gave it two stars as the concept is great but it needs a lot of work. Maybe Lisa should stick to perfecting her products already on the market before trying to expand.

Thanks for your feedback, I'm so sorry to hear that you aren't fully satisfied with the app.
We do actually have a 'try a workout for free' feature which allows you to test out 1 full workout before signing up - perhaps you missed this?
The app workouts do typically take from 45-90 minutes depending upon your plan and experience level: the more experienced you are the longer it may take as you will need to work harder to make it effective as you progress more and more 💪🏼
The superset feature (as with most exercises in the app) does include the 'switch' feature, so if the machines you have been given on your plan aren't nearby you should be able to switch to a more suitable option - not all gyms set up their equipment in the same layout so it is impossible for anyone to know each persons exact floor plan. My instagram stories mock the people who don't share or who hog equipment; I don't mock supersets 😅

A standard meal plan will include all recipe options that may fit within your calorie range; this does include vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian, but again you can switch any recipe by hitting the 'switch' button.

My technical team is looking into the error you mentioned, apologies for any inconvenience with this, I assure you we are always looking at ways of improving the functionality of the app.
I hope that once you have familiarised yourself more with the flow and workings of the app that you can enjoy it as much as many other users do.
