Be part of the energy transition! The more people use the app, the more effectively it can contribute to a secure power supply and the reduction of costs and CO2 emissions.
There must always be a balance between electricity generation and consumption. It’s essential to ensure our power network operates reliably and remains stable.
The growing proportion of weather-dependent energy sources used in electricity generation, such as wind and solar power, in addition to current geopolitical developments, creates challenges to ensuring reliable electricity generation.
This is where we can all contribute. Residential households account for about a quarter of our electricity consumption. When the supply situation becomes tight, actions that seem quite small can still help to take the pressure off the power grid.
The StromGedacht app tells you in real time if such a situation is on the horizon. That means you can also help to save costs and carbon emissions, and take the load off the grid, by adjusting your electricity consumption.
