Doesn’t work properly anymore

Used to be great but was forced to upgrade when the older one I had stopped opening archives. Currently it opens what it’s supposed to but will not expand archives in the same location as source location. It keeps asking where to save the archive even though preferences are set to ‘Same location as source archive’. Can’t find anything on support about it so having to resort to posting on here in the hope somebody actually reads the reviews. Loses a star for the problem and another for the fact I can’t find any information in support. Otherwise it would have a 5 star review.

No .sea support

I downloaded this as various forums said it was the only way to open old .sea file, however it doesn’t. I just get the message: 'The StuffIt Engine was unable to determine the file format.'

Does not unzip my file

I tried this with a large zip file i created using the mac Archive utility but it came back with an error about the zip file straight away. The Archive utility does work to unzip but others are having problems on a PC. I have tried The unarchiver and that also does not work with my ‘working’ zip file either, so perhaps something odd with the built-in apple Archive utility? But it does not help me as this utility fails too sadly.
