Description
Subnet Calc is a subnet / ip calculator designed to help network administrators who need to remember details about the various subnets which they administer. You can select an IP and a subnet in CIDR notation and Subnet Calc will tell you all the details about the subnet, including its class and even whether or not the IP is in the loopback / private ranges.
There is also a PRO version called Subnet Calc Pro. Be sure to check it out for more advanced features such as an organiser and the ability to find a subnet based upon a given set of IPs.

A Great App for Learning Subnetting
A great app for learning subnetting. The ability to convert from decimal to binary is particularly useful as is the note stating the network class for classful networks. I have tried a few subnet calculators and this is not only free but also the best.
Interstitial ads make the free version unusable
While ads have their place in free software (everyone deserves recompense for their hard work) the level of advertising needs to be appropriate to the app and above all else it must work despite them. I've used this app for years, it does (or did) what I need(ed) it to, but recently the level of interstitial ads has made this unusable. If the developer is being paid per impression, then it is clear this app is intended to be useless and should be removed from the store.

Sorry about the adverts problem. It was an issue with the advertising library used. But now adverts have been completely removed.

It has been my best mate this week setting up firewalls. I cannot remember binary and don't have a pad of paper to work it out!!
