Frog Su Doku app for free
This is a good app with a full 9 x 9 grid and it takes up a small memory space. Has a features that allow you to enter a number as many times as you like plus it indicates where selected number is elsewhere on grid etc. (Adverts at the bottom of screen are not too intrusive). Just a pity it does not have medium or hard as a free option but adverts & pay for upgrade makes them money so not surprising, D
Brilliant, but needs a tweak
Brilliant app, just sudoku, no gimmicks and a good selection of difficulties. There is one little thing that I would like to see updated, and that is the notes button, that turns on and off depending on the block that you are selecting, the typical mistake that I have been making would be clicking on an empty block to leave a note, only for it to be the ‘answer number’, when you come to the end of the puzzle it will need to be switched off each time you click on a block with a note. If the notes button would stay on or off until you click it again then I would certainly be worth the 5 stars
Onerous privacy issues
I used this app on another device for years but never reinstalled it on new device until today.
I was very disturbed to find the app makes you have to REFUSE data sharing and OBJECT to any (falsely) alleged Legitimate Interest of well over 400 so called “partners” as if that was not bad enough the app makes you do this for each of the alleged purposes, of which there are around 8. So basically they make you slide to NO 3200 times.
There are many widgets that manage privacy properly and allow you to make one choice to object to data sharing and fake legitimate interest.
It seems to me that the developers must have complete contempt for their users to chose this tool. Why share our data in the first place, it is OUR data not yours, not the 400+ data agencies and not the people who they sell it to.
I will not use the app and I will complain to Apple who are supposed to be protecting our privacy. If there is not an upgrade within 30 days saying it has changed privacy options to make them simpler whilst still giving users the ability to quickly object to their data being used then I will DELETE the app.
