Good game

Great fun. When you reach 100, the game restarts at level 100 every time which is annoying for anyone else trying to play it in order.

The absolute best

Bart is without a doubt the best game developer on the entire app store and I don’t say that lightly. His games are engaging and fun to look at, the music is great, the games aren’t crammed with ads, almost of them are free and the ones that aren’t are very modestly priced but the one thing that sets Bart above anyone else, that truly makes him the best developer is the maintenance. This game is approaching 9 years old at the time of writing, it came out on the iPhone 4! Bart is still updating and adding new levels, new levels were added 3 months ago. Imagine if you bought this 9 years ago for pennies, how’s that for return on investment. Fantastic, I tip my hat to you Bart.

Nowhere near as good as the pc version

I’ve played this game for years on the pc, and was so pleased to see it available for the iPad. What a disappointment. The levels are similar, the puzzles are similar, but the amount of ‘sugar’ you get on the iPad version is only *just* enough to complete the level, meaning you have to be absolutely accurate every time. Part of the fun of this game was experimenting with different pathways etc and sometimes you could rescue a level even if you made a mistake, but no chance of that here. The sugar is so restricted it’s almost a cheat. I would class myself as being very good at this game but I’ve got so fed up with being literally 3 or 4 pixels (sugar grains) out, it’s become frustrating and irksome. Stick to the free pc version, it’s much better and more fun. Even though I paid for it, I shall delete it.
