Description
Suguru, also known as Tectonics or Number Blocks, was invented in Japan. These puzzles have very simple instructions, but a very wide range of difficulties, from easy to insanely complex.
Suguru is a great logic puzzle with two very simple rules. The cells in each puzzle grid are divided into groups, and each group contains the numbers from 1 to N, where N is the number of cells in the group. Thus, a group containing 5 cells will contain numbers from 1 to 5. The second rule is that no two adjacent cells, including diagonal, can contain the same number. Despite these two rules, some puzzles can be incredibly difficult to solve.
Don’t be fooled by the size of the grid, and Suguru’s apparent simplicity. This is a puzzle that can, at its most difficult, challenge the most experienced of solvers. Be warned, this is an addictive puzzle like no other, and a uniquely satisfying one.
In our application, we have created 6000 unique levels with varying degrees of difficulty. If you are playing Suguru for the first time, try the level “Novice”. Each difficulty level contains 1000 unique levels. Where level 1 is easiest and 1000 is the most difficult. If you can easily solve the 1000st level of one difficulty level, try the first level of the next level of difficulty.

Great to use as a distraction and improve your concentration.
It’s great to use as a distraction and improve your concentration if you have a problem with constant pain. The only problem is that you have to avoid going OTT with it and spend too much time on it not doing the exercises that you need to do. I’ve got from the stage of never used Suguru at all to being able to complete the difficult puzzles in around a week which is pretty remarkable for me 😂 Would definitely recommend this App to anyone wanting to occupy their mind and improve their brain power at the same time; for me a much better App than Sudoku!
Great game to improve your brain & give hours of happiness
A couple of weeks ago I suddenly got stuck with a blank screen after having played very happily for many months. I had to delete the app and reinstall it, and start all over again with all my progress lost. However, it's such a good game, and so well made, that I continue to happily play it and I'm getting faster and better all the time. It's sad that the creator doesn't seem to be looking after the app any more, but it's free, clean and easy to use, with a much better and simpler layout than other suguru/tectonic apps that I've tried.
I've reviewed this app twice before; the first time I gave it 5 stars, and the second time 3 stars because of the blank screen. I like to be fair so decided to come back and give it 4.
I'd very much like to buy a pro level of this game if Aliaksandr Uvarau ever wanted to offer one.
To the reviewer who complained that some of the games in this app are badly written and can't be completed: this is incorrect; I've completed nearly all the games several times, and they all work out. If you get stuck, start it again and try to learn where you went wrong and redo it several times until you find it easy. You'd be surprised how quickly you improve and become very good at it.
My progress keeps getting wiped!
Great game and I have actually completed some of the advanced and expert levels, but they take time! However, very annoyingly, on two occasions all of my progress has been wiped. This is a serious glitch and I’m sorry to say I have given up playing this app because of it. A few months later and I am still playing Suguru and I’m still annoyed about the way all the games that I have solved routinely get wiped and I’m back to nothing again. Why does this happen? How can I stop it? Is it a glitch or is this meant to happen?
