It's quite easy to setup if you have a basic understanding of the components of your PV system. It appears to work, I noticed though that my batteries were charging from the grid during peak time which of course isn't what you want. When I contacted support they suggested that the EDF tariff is not currently supported, the system only works with Octopus in the UK which is surprising as I got my Sunsynk system from EDF. Support is poor, any questions are answered by being sent a link to read the manual. Further responses are promised but never arrive, I cancelled my subscription

The app looks so much better than the original, so I thought I’d try it out. I liked the idea of AI optimising my usage/exporting. But, having given it the three price rates and times, it decided to charge at the standard rate rather than the reduced rate when the household is asleep. I will persist with the free trial of AI, but I will probably go back to the standard app after that.

The fact you have to enter some plant details to even be able to use it is silly. You should be able to deny it and just miss out on those features. As an installer, you won’t have access to these

It’s just not simple to use and doesn’t use plan language. Fine if you’re an expert I guess, but for a regular person who has just installed solar and wants to understand the basics of how much they are generating a day, this is not great.
