Editors’ Choice

The more we play this ingenious arcade shooter, the more it blows us away. Revolving back and forth along a circular track, blasting ships before they reach your base, seems pretty simple at first. But the brilliant one-touch control scheme—where firing also changes your direction—adds a deeply compelling wrinkle. When everything clicks and you’re timing your shots just right, it’s absolutely exhilarating. And the catchy soundtrack, gorgeous minimalism, and prevailing sense of polish just make the quest for high scores that much better.

Very addictive

Don't write reviews usually but this game is SO easy to play (though very hard to get a high score) and SO addictive I thought I would. This game wouldn't have been out of place in a 70s arcade in its look and simplicity but if it had it would have been regarded as a classic like Space Invaders - definite contender for game of the year - get it, I assure you commuter journeys and airport lounges won't seem so dull with this game on your device

Seriously good

Excellent game, one of the pluses being that your level of inebriation in no way affects your performance. However, as a regular player, I could suggest one improvement - it would be great to add a visual cue for “swarm incoming”, as I often (through no choice of my own) need to play with no audio. This enhancement would improve my experience exponentially.
