Match 3 with a layer of mystery
No instructions here, but it’s a lot of fun paying attention to cues, to work out what’s going on and unlock a bunch of cool stuff. A super mini-epic!
Seems simple but with hidden depth!
Seems like a simple match game, but opens up to lots of clever mechanics as you play further. The need for levelling up the buildings and defeating certain enemies becomes clear as you progress. I'm currently stuck on what I assume is the last boss, it's really tough but has been rewarding getting there!
Poor
There are so many match three puzzlers on the App Store these days. A new one has to be pretty special to make the cut. Unfortunately this isn't anything special at all. Constantly matching icons to collect resources and then battling beasts at night without any real idea what you are trying to achieve. It's dull, boring and just going through the motions. Compared with the excellent You Must Build A Boat, you are getting very little for your money here.
