SUPER PADS LIGHTS - Launchpad 4+

This app is amazing to use, it is the best launchpad app out there by far can’t wait for more songs to be added if anyone is looking for a quality app that lets you play actual songs or make your own then this is the best one out there as I’ve tried a lot of them and this one is by far the best because as soon as it came out compared to super pads it is a lot better and is a lot more fun to use and to show your mates. This app has a couple of cool features that could be really useful if the developers made some changes to the way it works, but at the moment it’s more of a toy for messing around on and not for the professional iOS Musician.

The app will only work with 1 MIDI device plugged in. The minute you load up an app with Virtual or Network MIDI connections
or have a Launchpad and a Soundcard or any other hardware device, it loses connection to the Launchpad.

The app doesn’t work with Audiobus which is a real shame.
You can’t specify the midi connections in/out.
It doesn’t have Ableton Link capability, it’s very limited.

What it does do brilliantly however, is the actual light show patterns. I was hoping to have this running in the background with silent pads just to trigger the Lightshows whilst I use iMPC Pro or Korg Gadget for the actual sounds, but alas because of the problems with the way it handles MIDI connections this is impossible to achieve at this stage in development.

I am also not a fan of subscription services, £18 for the year is a little steep seeing as I have paid upgrades from many other Pro apps which are permanent once paid for and are cheaper.
It would be better to sell the sound packs like Ampify do or Akai and Loopmasters do. And there’s too many pop-up and banner adverts....

At the moment, it’s for kids and amateurs to play around on, but it has potential to be a decent addition to the serious iOS Musicians Arsenal of apps....

I love this app and it has made my launchpad a very easy thing to use and create covers though when I went to purchase pro nothing showed up. I closed and opened the app, restarted the iPad I have tried everything though nothing has let me get what comes with pro. I cannot make any more light effects which is a big problem. I love this app and I don’t want to move to another but this needs fixing. Edit: I have sent the email a few days ago I would like to know if I would be getting an email back or what will happen. Thank you so much for replying so quickly as well!
