Excellent....but updates need to be amended
I got to say that this h=game is amazing. I have always been a fan of arkanoid & this game has put its own dimension to it. I loved it so much, that i bought the paid version too (which i think is a great bargain for 1.19 pounds).
There are a couple of problems with the recent updates though. The falling power-ups go down way too quickly, thus, giving you less of a chance to get them. Please slow them down or add an options menu to let the gamer choose as to what option they would like.
Also, add an option bar to turn on/off the directional arrows, as i personally find them very very distracting....
Hope the developers address these issues!! If they do, then i would give it perfect 5 stars!!!
Best Brick Game So Far
I've downloaded many apps with misleading titles that make you think your gonna get a really original game, but infact it's just another brick rip-off. Superball 2 is what it is, a brick game, but this is the best one there is for many reasons:
- It's FREE
- different control styles
- loads of levels
- loads of modes
- good sound effects (it sounds like a game of ping-pong!)
Only reason i did not give the full 5* is because it isn't original and it's a Lite Version.
Absolutely brilliant!
Excellent graphics and layouts, imaginative power-ups, and you get to move the bat by tilting rather than touching. It resumes your game where you left off, and you put a name against your high scores (great if you're of a competitive nature and share the game). Don't hesitate to download this ... no, wait ... don't bother. Download the full version instead - it's only £1.19. Reward the programmer for an excellent job, and get over 300 levels into the bargain!
