Very good - even for a novice

I hunted high and low for an app to assist with rearranging and blending photos and plumped in the end for SuperimposeX. It appears to be an inspired choice. The amount of different functions are endless and what is also good are the tutorials. I am a real novice and a bit of a technophobe but the tutorial videos are explained in a clear and concise manner without being patronising. The actual functions are demonstrated online showing exactly what button you need to press and the desired effect it has as well as explaining the glossary of terminology used. I have just successfully blended two pictures together of the same spot taken neatly forty years apart and am now hatching plans as to what I can do next. I really cannnot recommend this highly enough.

I’ve waited a long time for this app

I got myself an I pad pro this year (2020) and have tried to justify its expense along with the i pencil and magic keyboard. Now i can say that it has all been worth it. I am only a ‘casual artist ‘ who enjoys taking photos and editing a little. I have tried photoshop in the past on a pc and was overwhelmed by the amount of stuff on the screen . Now everything has changed because I pick up my ipad and get started in the comfort of a chair or bed (ok its the bed for 90% of the time).

I paid for this app yesterday and by today I’ve managed to amaze myself with the creations I’ve made. I always enjoy blending images but have struggled with removing the parts of the photo I didn’t want. That’s called masking and i assure you that this app makes the job easy and you are not overwhelmed by the screen layout. Beyond masking there are so many other ways to make photos amazing and interesting.

Tutorials are available via the app in You Tube and i find them easy to understand. I use a split screen on the ipad with the app on the right and YT on the left so that i can watch and try simultaneously.

I’m sure this app will get me through another winter.

Better than Superimpose

I have used the original ‘Superimpose’ for a few years now. It was east to use and I got great results.
This new version, although double the price, has more than double the features of the original. It’s fast, easy to use and is now my go-to App for manipulating pictures. I’ve paid for the full version so I can add many layers and although I am no artist the guys at work are convinced I’ve been on a secret art course while I’ve been furloughed.
I don’t use a lot of the features as I merely manipulate pics and it’s early days yet but I think this is a huge improvement over the original.
Get the free version, try it out and like me you’ll end up paying £4.99 to get the extra features.
