This works for me at a very basic level but could do *so* much better. The app interface seems really dated and clunky and not at all intuitive. And if someone manually turns the switch off or on at the plug, the app goes into permanent manual mode when it’s switched back on again, unless you return to the app to select ‘program’ again! Really annoying! Please update to at least allow people to manually advance or cancel the current program at the switch, but surely it should stay in program mode until told do otherwise via the app!
For the price of the switch this is very disappointing, so come on developers, stop ignoring your customers and please sort it out!!

I’ve had to knock a star off as twice now the switch didn’t turn on, so cold water in the morning :-(
Since new in January this immersion switch has worked fine, however, a few months back it failed to turn on and the blue WiFi light was flashing. When I tried the App it had logged me out and would not let me back in, error was ‘network busy’. There was no issue with my networks and it all recovered within an hour or so. It’s now happened today, December 13th, but still not recovered after several hours.
Warning!
The switch won’t work without being connected to their server, so I assume there’s no independent timers in the unit. At least you can turn on/off using the manual switch on the unit. This is most worrying...

As I couldn't easily find a way to feedback to their support folk I’ve added the following.

I knocked a star off as the App is a bit basic. For example when the (delete) command is presented, alongside (edit) and (cancel), if you press (delete) by accident there’s no “are you sure” to confirm. As these virtual buttons are quite small and close together so one slip and all your time programmes are gone!

Otherwise the App and time switch are a good product. It would be ideal to have more than 6 on/off settings each day, but that seems the standard for similar timers. Being able to choose to stay on GMT rather than switch each change would also be good.

I was very sceptical about installing the timer switch due to reading all the reviews on here.
However, I’ve come to the conclusion that the majority of them are from people who didn’t read the instructions properly or maybe aren’t very tech savvy. It was really easy to set up and i now have full control over my water heater wherever I am. I can set any sort of custom timers throughout the week and save them. I can choose holiday mode when I’m away and have hot water waiting when I get home. I’m expecting this item to save me a few ££s on my energy bill now as I can easily switch off the timer when I’m out if I know I won’t need hot water again until morning.
I would give it 5* but it is still early days so it could fail on me at some point but so far so good.
