Suspects: Mobile Detective 17+

It’s a good game and fun but I have a couple of issues. The first one is the times between messages etc. you sometimes have to wait 2-3 hours for the next message, yes you can skip the wait but you don’t always have the coins or want to spend them on that. Second, you have to use coins or tokens to unlock certain messages, photos, voicemails etc. which is fine but some of the things you have to unlock really aren’t worth it, they have very little input or meaning on the grander scheme of the game, unless something is ‘urgent’ or gives a big piece of information to help you figure out the killer then you shouldn’t have to pay to unlock them. The last issue I have noticed is just a bug fix- this is meant to be real time but the messages are coming through with different times to what the actual time is, it was fine to start but I noticed it started lagging around the second chapter and now the messages say they have been sent 2 or so hours prior to the actual time even when they have literally just came through.

Other than that the game is fine so far and I haven’t really got any other issues for the time being, definitely worth playing if you like detective games but you won’t be able to play for hours on end, just now and again when something happens.

You can’t enjoy this app without constantly spending money. And I mean SPENDING. £4.99 allows you to open just a few messages and you need more than that just to be able to get to the end of the story. If you don’t purchase coins, you might still be able to get to the end of the story but with half the information just to find out who killed the character. Although there are stories where you need coins just to get to the next episode. And what’s most frustrating is that you get through a story over a few days, you read real time messages, you wake up on the morning of last day to catch up on messages you haven’t seen yet just to simply see who the killer was. No opportunity to read through all the content first and try to figure out who did which would make it more exciting. I wouldn’t mind paying a one off fee and have all the content. Or paying £1 per story but to ACTUALLY see everything in that story. Also, we should be able to read through all messages before being given the ending. There should be option at the end eg. “Are you ready to see last episode and to find out who killed so and so and see if you guessed correctly”. Otherwise it’s just so pointless and very frustrating simply reading the messages. Great concept but too many missed opportunities to make it exciting for users and make us feel like we’re trying to solve the crime and see if we’re correct at the end.

I came across this game a couple of days ago. I love it as I love to solve mysteries. The first case I did was the first unsolved crime and at the time i didn't realise that you had to wait as its set in real time. Which was fine for me but I didn’t pause it when I went to bed and when I went to it again I was overwhelmed with messages etc. Again , which was fine I understood why. So when I started the next one I knew I would pause it at night (which was last night). Now for some reason after un pausing it it as reverted back to the beginning! So now when it get to the part where I have to wait for a while I am assuming I have to wait nine hours again! Now, when I went to bed I paused it with about two hours to go but when it finally kicked into gear it said I had five hours to go! So I decided to use some coins to get back to where i was but that when started from the beginning again. So now I’m really frustrated as I want to play the game and with the being a glitch I will not be paying for coins as it is not my fault. I’m hoping this will sorted as i really want to play this game. Is there anyway this can be sorted? If it wasn’t for that I would have given 5 stars.
