Description
Sweet MIDI Player is a MIDI player for not only auditioning all types of MIDI files, but for modifying the MIDI files themselves.
Use its mixer-like interface to easily edit the control messages, transpose the music, change the tempo, mute desired MIDI channels, and save the end results to disk.
View lyrics synchronized with the music (MIDI Karaoke files).
It also includes a playlist function which allows you to create and manage playlists.
Built in MIDI sound library with support for DLS/SF2 files.
Support for CoreMIDI.
Upload files using iTunes.
This free version is limited to play the first 3/4 of a MIDI file.

Nice demos, but it didn't like my own MIDI file
It couldn't open the first MIDI file I threw at it. Presumably a little more work is needed. The demo files worked nicely. I installed a competing product, which handled my file successfully. (It would be unkind to say which competing product I installed!)

Good for the basics
Great app, works well with core midi apps and external modules, would like more options on sound selection on tracks other than the basic 127 GM. Maybe GM2 or XG with more sound selections, I’ve used this app to perform live and it works well, just a little restrictive for midi editing
Best MIDI Playback App on iOS
Would be perfect however if you could set and save playback ranges outside of looping, for example play 2 bars of one file, then play 4 bars of next file. Soundfont support is fantastic.
