I love this color picker

Yes, its true. Why doesn't every app work this well. Yes, its a color picker...but its an intutive color picker. It just seems to work just as you need it to. Its got simplicity (I use it to grab hex colors for my web design) but its got complexity too if you need it. The magnifier works perfectly. I simply click over the color, and hey presto the hex number (with hash tag and in capitals) is saved to my clipboard..and over the dreamweaver I go with my ctrl v fingers at the ready. Well done Mr Developer! You completed the app task perfectly.

Very handy when using colours

As a developer or a desingner when you need to either get a colour, or explore some variation on an option, this little app addresses the needs.

Does what it says on the tin

This is definetly a very good color picker. My only grip is that the scope is perhaps a bit too small, because you can't seem to (at least I haven't figured out how to) paste in color codes, and then manipulate them that way. Often I will have a color in hex or hsl format already and just need to tweak it slightly. Can't seem to do that with this app, it only allows picking colors, not setting them.
But other than that this is a fantastic app!

You can already do this. Just click the paste button (the second button in the toolbar, after the color picker button). You can also find it in the menu bar (when not in menu bar mode). Or you could press Shift+Command+V when the window is focused. For additional questions, there's a support button in the app.
