The Tales of Aarchie follows the adventures of an Armadillo who takes us on an interactive journey where we learn about quirks of the English language.
We start with homophones which are words that sound the same but are spelt differently and describe different things.
Sore and saw, horse and hoarse and stairs and stares for instance. Wonderfully imaginative, the story changes from scene to scene through the pressing of the glowing word in question. This takes us through to another scene involving its glowing counterpart and the next step in the journey.
On a tablet or mobile device, the glorious illustrations animate in a totally charming way across many different environments and landscapes.
This brings a different level of sophistication to educational story telling that makes learning for children fun.

Beautiful & Visually Stunning
Downloaded this for my grand daughter ... First thing we noticed are the amazing visuals ... simple but graphically wonderful. My grand daughter was already hooked and the ease of navigation combined with the wonderful warmth of storytelling was obviously so gripping that once she finished she immediately started all over again ....
Obviously the educational element is beyond question and if like myself you enjoy word play then it is a whole lot of fun. However, even more then that - the App is easy to use and the storytelling is reminiscent of a simpler more innocent age.
Thoroughly enjoyed this and an absolute bargain if you are looking for 30 minutes of peace from the small people in the household ,
Fun and educational
I downloaded this app for my two grandchildren and they loved it from the word go! The story is fun, the graphics are first class and it really did keep them entertained. Once they'd read the story they wanted to find out more about homophones and went off to find as many as they could! They loved the word play and have kept going back to the story time and time again. Money well spent as far as I'm concerned and an app that engaged all of us!
Great idea to learn English
This is a brilliant app. It's worth every penny. My kids love the character and the story. The animation is brilliant. What I like about it is it's not a game but a learning tool where words are used creatively. Since having the app, my eldest girl has been playing around with words and making up funny stories so I guess what ever these guys are doing must work! We want to see more please!
