Possibly the best free main resource to use whilst learning Korean. If you want to learn, I’d recommend pairing this with Drops and Anki. Use this app to have structured grammar lessons, do one lesson every day minimum. Do a 5 minute drops session every morning and evening, and add all Drops vocab into a single Anki deck, which you revise for at least an hour a week.

Also use some Korean media, like TV shows, the news, music etc with subtitles on, just actively listening. Eventually turn the subtitles off when you kinda understand, and use an app like HelloTalk to find native Korean speakers to help with grammar. That’s all I can say really. Good luck!

Amazing app though, 10/10 would recommend

Amazing content!

I’ve been using the TTMIK website to self-study and having it in an app just makes it convenient for me when I’m on the go. Really good quality content - you can tell the TTMIK team put a lot of effort into creating the content, making it understandable and digestible for their virtual students (like me!). My only suggestion as an improvement to the app is to add a filter/search function so it’s easier to find certain lessons or videos, and a bookmark option so you can quickly find the lessons that you frequently use. Thank you TTMIK for your time and effort.. you make learning and studying so much more enjoyable!

Everything you could need to learn Korean

I have never advanced with a language so fast than with this app. Not only does it explain things brilliantly but it’s also super fun! You feel like you’re hanging out with friends every day. I especially love all the humour and it’s a brilliant way to pick up the language. I can’t believe there’s so many lessons and it’s all free. I listen to the lessons first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Thank you so much for creating this! 🤗🥰
