Description
STOP THE FOX! is the 4th of seven TALKING SHAPES apps that teach 36 sounds of English, the letters that represent them, and words that can be built with them. The ongoing storyline is about two sisters (“long, long ago”) who invent letters in order to remember the stories they love. STOP THE FOX! adds to what was learned in TALKING SHAPES 1, 2, & 3 by teaching 2 more letters (O,X), and 4 phonemes (“sh”, “ch”, “O” -as in NO, “cs” for X), and 15 KEY WORDS: FOX, BOX, SHOP, CHOP, CHIP, CHAP, SHIP, DISH, FISH, CASH, DASH, MASH, GO, NO, SO, with an interactive story and games. Children can sound-out and write more than 60 regularly-spelled words using these letters. Talking Shapes 5-7 teach the rest of the 40 sounds of English and words that can be built with their letters.
