It seems quite good so far (have only deposited £50 so far) however I would really like a feature where you can see a graph of the current and past exchange rate from GBP to Tally and vice-versa (Revolut does this for all the currencies they support), and maybe even other currencies such as Euro to Tally etc. Also something like “notify me when exchange rate is £1 = X amount of Tally” would be incredibly useful, or even to automatically take a pre-specified amount of GBP from my non tally bank account when the exchange rate is a certain amount.The notification thing is maybe for a bit further down the road but I’d really like to be able to see historical exchange rates in the app instead of having the Google the price of 1mg of gold over the past week/month every time I want to have a look. Also it doesn’t seem as though the live rate updates very often, any chance you could clarify how often the GBP to Tally rates update in the app?

What differs from other methods of holding gold is you can easily spend it at home or abroad using their debit card. The app is well designed and easy to use. Missing a star due to semi regular IT issues that make it less reliable to use as a day to day account. Support is brilliant, however, the team respond quickly and professionally to questions. Once it offers Direct Debit and Standing order functionality I will be having my salary paid in and use it as my main account.

I had an account with TallyMoney for a while, and my experience has been nothing but frustrating. After losing my phone number, I couldn’t access my account anymore, and their customer service was no help at all. Instead of resolving the issue, they told me my funds had "run out" and that I needed to pay fees. This is absolutely ridiculous! I just want to close my account, but even that seems impossible with them.They claim your money is tied to gold and should increase in value as gold prices go up, but that’s not true. The price of gold has risen, yet my balance never grew—it stayed stagnant or even decreased. It feels like a scam designed to trap you into paying fees while your money disappears.On top of all this, their support is slow, unhelpful, and frustrating to deal with. I regret ever signing up for TallyMoney and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and stay far away from this company!
