Tap Out Blocks：3D Block Puzzle 4+

Fantastic App!

What a great little app - I found myself strangely hooked, going through the puzzles of varying difficulty- cycling repeatedly through very easy, to down right challenging.

Collecting keys to unlock the big puzzles within a “Story” and progress it keeps my interest going. I can’t wait for the next Story to be released in a future update.

Ads: a point of contention. The developers must make a living somehow, I get that, and ads keep it free for us end users. But for me, the ads destabilised the app to such an extent I nearly uninstalled it initially. Thankfully I found a great workaround- play offline and hey presto - a completely ad-free and stable experience! Not a single crash since.

Highly recommended.

Addictive Game

While I do enjoying playing this game there are a few things I find very frustrating.
The blocks appear in various colour sets. The yellow ones (on a white background with white arrows) are difficult on the eyes, particularly when playing with a large number of blocks. Also, when playing a game with lots of blocks it is impossible to zoom in to see the arrows clearly until a number of blocks in the same area have been cleared (not always possible anyway). Due to this, miss hitting the desired cube can happen frequently and, while additional moves can be obtained by watching (usually extremely lengthy) advert the adverts are often “not available at the moment” - a real pain. Due to the stain on my eyes when playing ‘yellow’ and/or larger puzzles I think I now need to see an optician or, more probably, delete the game if these issues can’t be resolved.

Frustrating

It’s a strangely engrossing game and it very satisfying to see the blocks fly away in 3D space. But…. the experience is ruined by the endless stream of ads both during progress through the puzzle and one after another between levels.
The app generates several gold obstacle blocks that can be tapped away but you must endure at 30+ second ad each time. You are rewarded for this with coins that can’t be used and then at the end of the level you must tap your way through 2 or 3 more pointless rewards that result in long ads that take multiple taps to eventually dismiss. Good game with satisfying graphics, ruined by a frustrating experience. Shame.
