Tap Tap Music-Pop Songs 12+

Extremely enjoyable and so much potential

Ever since I downloaded the game I’ve been hooked on it. So intensely satisfying tapping in time to music that I listen to freely in my own time and realising how many instruments are used where you can focus on that and not just the singing. The daily level makes people want to come back, even if the song is unknown, just so you can add it to your collection. At this current moment it has a very good choice of music with obviously most of it being pop / hip hop which I can appreciate but would love to see other genres incorporated. However I see myself going back and doing the same songs because I actually do simply enjoy the experience of it.
I guess the one thing that possibly could improve the app especially with more songs getting added daily / weekly is a category system so it’s easier to find a certain song or see if a song is on the app because sometimes it can take a lot of time.

So much potential, but needs work.

I honestly love this game. It stands out from a lot of those tap music games like Piano Tiles (which I find extremely tame compared to this game). I love the fact that you don’t need a subscription to play all the amazing songs, instead you just have to grind, playing different songs for stars and coins. I adore that concept. I also love how you can submit songs on their Facebook page for a chance they actually get into the game, the communication they have with their fans is amazing. I really appreciate that. The only problem I have with this game is that the fourth button sometimes stops working completely. Meaning I lose my combo and it ends my game sometimes, considering how much HP I have for that certain song. (“Peace Sign” by Kenshi Yonezu, my favourite song on the game, only has 2 HP. It also has over 800(?) notes. Think about it). Before people think if its my phone screen, it’s not. I just received a new phone not even a week ago. My old phone had the same problems, a few people I know seem to have this problem too. I’ve never experienced any other bugs mentioned by other people. I hope the developers see this and fix it as soon as possible because this game has so much potential. I’d hate to see it lose traction over a bug. Thank you for reading and I hope this is patched.

Music is not syncronised to the game.

I was a top level player on Tap Tap Revenge years ago, back when it was a very popular game. This game, TapTap Music, has a very similar principle, so I was very excited to try it out. The whole point of the game is to tap the circles in time with the accompanying song but on every level I have played so far the music is slightly out of sync with the game itself, rendering the game useless. I am very disappointed, as this could be a good game and go on to replace the space Tap Tap Revenge left when it was discontinued. As a side note, I have noticed the developers replying to every negative review here and accusing the players of not practicing enough, despite the fact that it’s the game itself that is not on beat. I have been playing multiple instruments for over a decade now, so believe me, practice isn’t the issue.

Edit: In response to the developer response, I don’t believe connection is the issue. I have tried this game on two different wifi networks, the data network and on someone else’s phone and the problem still persists. I tried this game once before a while ago and it had the same issue, but I just deleted it without review. Upon finding out it still has the same issue, I’m convinced it is a problem with the app itself.

I believe you, we also want to find out why the music and the key is out of sync, so far the only situation we find out is that the network environment is poor, can you tell me in detail when you encountered a different situation? We really need your help.
