Brilliant

The most useful, flexible, elegant, compatible and adaptable task related software I have ever found. Perfect for drafting and organising notes / tasks in meetings, on recces, etc - and then simply copy and paste into OmniFocus for more detailed project/task management and scheduling.

In some ways its a shame that Hog Bay no longer do a dedicated iOS app to accompany TaskPaper. However, the TaskPaper format is now open source - so other developers can make iOS apps that work woth TaskPaper (eg. “Editorial” - which is also excellent).

Cannot beat the simplicity plus effectiveness

For anyone who values simplicity without giving up effectiveness, TaskPaper has to be it. I find it particularly useful for project tracking where a small number of people are involved. It is a shame though that the author no longer maintains a iOS App.

Absolutely Perfect.

I now don't spend 10 mins at the start of the day fighting my task manager. My absolute favourite part of TP is that I am in control of where my data stores - and the fact that it's plaintext means I can dip into it quickly using vim without breaking my flow. Love it.
