You are no longer confined to a Taxi Rank. If you are on the move or waiting on a Taxi Rank, Customers can Hail/Call you from anywhere within locality and request for a Trip with our App.
For the first time in the United Kingdom a NEW TAXI APP that enables a person to connect with a local Hackney Carriage TAXI directly without a Taxi Operator and order a Taxi from anywhere anytime within locality.
This is a platform with the most advanced technology that gives all of UK’s Hackney Carriage Taxi drivers a new way of reaching new local customers in a truly mobile way.
HOW DIGITALTAXINET WORKS?
● INSTANT SEARCH
Customer can search and request for a local Taxi, anytime from anywhere in UK with their smartphone.
● WE LOCATE:
We scan for all available Taxis nearest to the customer and send notification call to all Driver’s App who are on our Platform/Network, online and within a reasonable local distance from the customer.
● DRIVER ACCEPTS
We display customer’s PICK UP and DROP OFF full address in the Driver’s App, a Driver must accept the trip within 60 seconds. Our App will automatically enter the customer's Pick Up address in the App and navigate the Driver to the customer’s Pick Up address using Google Map or Waze App. The Driver can also ignore or reject the notification call if not interested.
● LIVE VIEW
Customer can see on their smartphone screen as the Taxi arrives, with live GPS tracking.
● CUSTOMER PAYS YOU
The customer pays the standard fare as shown on the Taxi Meter by whatever payment method the Driver accepts directly to the Driver. We DO NOT collect any payments from the customers.
● THE DRIVER PAYS US
The Driver pays DIGITALTAXINET a flat rate of £2.00 administration/service fee for the usage of our App/Platform for each Trip Request accepted (regardless of the actual fare or distance) via the Driver’s Digital Wallet in the App. There are no other charges or commissions - Driver pays just £2.00 per trip total. Driver keeps 100% of the trip fare. A minimum balance of £10 or more must be available in the Driver's Digital Wallet to go Online and accept Trip Requests. The Driver's Digital Wallet balance does not expire until used.
● NO TRACKING
We do not track, collect or ask for any Driver’s earnings or working hours information. We do not also share any Driver’s information with any third parties as we do not collect any such data.
● TOTAL FREEDOM
A Driver is totally independent there is no contract and can go online or offline anytime. We only provide technology through our Apps that enables a person to initiate a communication link with a local Hackney Carriage Taxi Driver who is registered with our Platform/Network, online and within a reasonable local distance to discuss his or her itinerary or travel matter with the Driver. We accept on our platform only Hackney Carriage Licensed Taxi/Drivers who are currently operating. We do not accept any PHV (Private Hire Vehicles). We are NOT a Taxi Operator. We do not take any booking from a person and provide a Taxi. We do not licence any Taxis. We do not collect any payments from either party in relation to their travel arrangements. A Taxi Driver must follow their licensing rules. Any violations of any applicable Rules or Laws related with our Platform/Network will be dealt with promptly subject to our terms & conditions. We operate a zero-tolerance policy.
