Description
Packed with a variety of useful features, the App lets you easily register your Tech-Air® 5 Airbag System and monitor its status and battery life, as well as track details of your ride. The App uses Bluetooth Connectivity to access the System’s data. Via the MyRide function, riders can record location and speed continuously during a ride. Relive your ride and visualize your average and top speeds at any point along the route and zooming in on the map. MyRide gives motorcyclists the ability to record unlimited motorcycle rides and build up a complete library of individual journeys, so you can easily retrace your trips and remember the great riding moments.
How it Works
• See top stats for the ride – including the exact location where these results were achieved, average speed, journey time and distance covered.
• Retrace each journey on an enhanced Google Map that shows your speed at any point you select along the trip.
• Build up a fascinating library of each ride you take on your bike.
• Disable the Tech-Air® System, when you’re going to start doing heavy off-road riding.
• Verify the deployment of the Tech-Air® System after an accident.
• Send feedback to the Alpinestars Tech-Air® development team.
• Update the System’s firmware whenever available.
• Download online manual and useful documentation, for air travel, shipments, and servicing.

Ratings and Reviews
Alpinestars kit is expensive - the app is garbage
iPhone user. Multiple app deletes. Multiple re-registering. The attempted software update turned the LED unit into a brick. No support from Alpinestars despite multiple email requests for help. Still can’t do the software update on the TechAir 10 suit. BKS (Exmouth) have been brilliant, even though they didn’t sell me the suit - even supplied me a new LED unit free of charge! Alpinestars - be ashamed! I’ll not send any more money (£££) your way!
Terrible tech support
If you happen to change number and not update your account, there is no way to register the vest with the new number to verify it.
You can’t even register the vest with a new account as can only register it once which is stupid for just a vest.
Customer service is awful, just ignores you and doesn’t help. Just a simple thing to update my number so I can use the account but no help at all.
Vest can’t be updated now.
Pretty bad experience for a £600 jacket.
Does not connect
No matter what I do the app will NOT connect to the tech air 5. So I CANNOT use it on the track. Refund required Alpinestars. Absolute rubbish in this day and age. No excuse whatsoever
