Generally good content, desperately needs pictures
Generally good content, although the recent article slamming the US for becoming the copycats in the tech industry is questionable, a bit BuzzFeedy for my liking, but still generally good.
NEEDS PICTURES in articles!!!! So annoying that an article loads without pictures. Sent feedback twice through the app about this but not got a response.
Will be actively looking for alternatives
Great content, lousy app
I’m a big fan of TechCrunch but it’s ironic that even the most basic startup could offer a much better app. For starters, it barely offers any images so covering the latest e.g. Electric Vehicle or stats graphic comes with no clue what the text refers to. Also the refreshing of latest articles is clunky at best.
Then, having paid for their Extra Crunch premium service, you can’t even access that content on the app so you’re left checking random emails for new articles - pretty outmoded.
Come on, TechCrunch, I’m sure even a startup app agency could do wonders for even a mention!
Latest update not working
App always been slow and buggy but since the latest update (5 days ago ish) no new stories are loading. I put it down to Xmas and no new content but then checked browser and there is loads of new stuff! My headlines are still about Russia’s new private internet, in app!
For an organisation that critiques, queries and sometimes judges other tech firms (which, yes is why I read your content) please sort out your own app!!! You should consider it an embarrassing blemish against an otherwise great reputation!
